Pipe 1060 4 Star Magnum Shape 55

Very clean briar, pretty rare in a Magnum size, though not as heavy as you’d expect for the size. Made in the iconic Shape 55, a shape that’s pretty specific in certain parameters. I’ve elevated it with deep rings in the bowl, a lovely handcut dark multicoloured ebonite stem. The shank is adorned with a pretty unique band made with stabilised colored wood and translucent resins. I wanted to leave the briar virgin but decided to stain the plateau so that the collector needn’t worry about the rim darkening and still have a nice bright bowl.
