Pipe 1129 blowfish /crossgrain

There is conjecture whether this is in the realms of a blowfish or crossgrain shape. As I understand it this is a crossgrain shape but over time has become known as a blowfish. The original blowfish by Lars Ivarsson is a different shape. In any event a lovely pipe with gorgeous grain on the round smooth side. The textured areas are my tree bark finish and polished to a satin finish rather than high gloss. The stem is marble ebonite and fits into the shank like a glove. The thin textured dart on the base was quite a challenge, but I think it looks great
