Pipe 1150 - 4 Star Pierre Morel inspired flower

Pierre Morel is a living legend master pipe maker living the St Claude region of France, often considered by many as the birth place of briar pipes. This pipe is not intended as a copy of his pipes but inspired by them. Gorgeous grain, often angel hair grain, abounds around the pipe. I’ve turned down the shank face after the Sterling silver band and stained it to match the plateau rim. The ornate band on the stem seems to fit nicely with the French theme.  The chamber has a decent capacity and suits a long relaxing smoke. The shape of the bowl allows a very comfortable grip around the bowl.
