Pipe 1193 - Strawberries & Cream Hackert Billiard

Here we have one of my favorite Hackert designs. I used to own a similar pipe make by Jake Hackert and have made several similar examples myself. The shank and stem are around 24mm in diameter, creating a very robust yet eminently smokable pipe. The overall short length means that’s its light and also will allow for excellent oxygenation of the tobacco meaning it should stay lit more easily. The pipe features thick wall, deep carving, an ivorite band and gorgeous deep red shimmering translucent saddle stem. The block is well seasoned meaning it’s light despite its size.
