Pipe 275

Here we have a gorgeous author-rhodesian hybrid. Lovely grain all around the pipe with some birdseye on the base. I’ve placed the double ring as low as possible to give the pipe a robust look to the bowl. This is in contrast to the smooth flowing lines of the shank and contoured stem which evoke fluidity and movement. The stem and shank insert is black/orange ebonite, the shank is them finished with a briar ring. The briar is exceptionally clean hence there is barely any stain on it. The grain will get richer and darker as the pipe is smoked.
